Just wondering, my legacy of 3 generations crashed and I don't know how to get it back. I do have a backup file save thingy. How do I get my legacy back?? :*(

If you do have the back-up, then you can just edit that file name by right-clicking and choosing 're-name'. After that, you just delete the '.backup' out of the file name and it will become a playable file.

If you created the back-up yourself by copying the save file and moving it elsewhere on your computer, then you can just copy it back into your 'saves' folder.

i downloaded viva off the exchange and there was no custom content. :*( i used the link listed under more info and it said forbidden. :( Could you please give me the link for viva's hair and top? (exactly what she has in the banner). Thanks :)

I DO know that Viva's hair comes from rose sims :D

Hey Just wonsering..Were do you get hair for free from other than mod the sims and sims resorce and sims website?

First off, I rarely use Mod The Sims, and I never use The Sims Resource. Mod the Sims hairs tend to be flat, and with TSR, I find the quality of most of their stuff to be very low. I also never use Peggy, because her hairs tend to have larger poly counts and mess with the speed of my game. Rose Sims, Savio's Stuff, and Cazy Dark Place are the three top hair converters/creators in my experience.

Blue, do you use the monkeyinstaller for your cc or do you do it manually? I'm not sure which is better, so any advice would help.

I use the monkey, personally. I just find it easier, and it takes care of setting everything up so there's less chance for error. I heard that if you have World Adventures, you have to make some changes. I'm not sure about that though, because I never bought WA.

Hm, unfortunately I don't. I went through some of my files to see if I could find any CC from sites that seemed to mostly be in zip files, but a lot came in .rar files. I did notice that xmSims and PoppySims files seemed to be in zip files (but I don't download a lot from there, so I don't know if this is the norm or not with them), and a few from ModTheSims were zip.

Depends on the piece, really, and how much detail goes into it. I can spend a few hours on a top or dress though.

I pretty sure Paris and Sydney's hair comes from Rose sims, but they are both donations, but from what I know, Paris' hair can be installed into your game by downloading it off the sims 3 site exchange. I'm not positive about sydney's.

As for Dallas' hair, I'd like to know where that comes from as well!

Hey are you planning on putting up Keltias top up on the custom content page because I cant wait to download it.Did you make it yourself?
